hiatus over

I'm back! Summer is winding down, and along with fitting all of my overdue dental work, eye exams, and gift knitting/embroidering into one last week, it's time for some back-logged blogging.

Four Things About the Fourth of July Weekend


1. "Four"ks used in abundance to eat delicious food.

2. Four hundred (give or take) rounds of Bang! card game.

Josh was our go-to rules and strategy guide.

Charlotte entertained us by wearing the game tin like a serial killer mask and saying "Bang" in a creepy deep voice. I'm giggling as I write this and remember this. 

3. Four hours in endless Fourth of July weekend and semi accident traffic.
