I just spent some pre-paper-writing time catching up on blogs, and several loved ones posted about good days. 10 minutes ago, I posted about a bad day, but I want a good one. I'm deciding now that tomorrow will be a happy day. I'm going to put effort into my outfit (perhaps my go-to charcoal knit dress, turquoise tights, and black boots), wear some bold, chunky jewelry, be productive in the morning before class, get some homework accomplished on campus, then enjoy the Physics Department student workers' Christmas party. I am going to be excited for Christmas, find things to do for other people, and smile. I'm going to walk with confidence, study my scriptures first thing, pray for the people I love, and rejoice in this season and the joy of our Savior's birth and His love for me.

Way to plan for your good day!
I'm going to take Advil before heading out for my last Paris Friday as a preventive knee pain measure. I'm going to look for some gifts for my book club friends. I'm going to soak it all in...
Here's to a good day!
p.s. The decorations in your photo gave me pause for a moment until I realized that that must be your roommate's side of the room...
I love this! I believe in your good day!
And I love that picture of you!
With a plan like this your day has to be great!
I am planning on going to the David Archuleta concert and finally making some major headway on one my final projects!
My goodness, I need to print this out and read it every morning for the next few weeks.
I have been totally inthe weeds doing things for clients and not being able to take care of the simplest of my own needs. Your mother's help made it bearable, but we still were just totally wiped out! It makes looking forward to the Christmas Season a bit daunting and overwhelming. But, I love your example, and I am going to try to feel this way myself, make it a priority to find joy in the weeks ahead.
Thanks for the prompt. I love you.
One of my favorite Stevie Wonder songs comes to mind, "You are the Sunshine of my Life." Love you!
(And you're absolutely right about the chunky jewelry--it always makes for a happier day!).
