Naturally, as today is my last day in Denver, and it is a Wednesday, Hannah, Quanta, and I had our last alliterated lunch date for a while. Our friend Kate already left to school in Oklahoma, I leave tomorrow, then Quanta leaves for Africa in November. Saying goodbye was hard, I am so glad to know that we will always stay close. These girls made up my group of best friends in high school, and we all feel so blessed to have found each other because we share the same strong values. I mean, we get together on the weekends to bake cupcakes and watch "The Office." I LOVE these girls! Even though we'll soon be far apart, I know that we will always have the strength of our friendship to fall back on. I'll miss them so much, but I know that they will all go on to do great things and continue to bless the lives of others, as they have blessed mine.
Oh, and we love giant sunglasses. May we be forever united by the power of our slightly ridiculous eyewear.

Actually, that's not quite true: http://www.goodtimesburgers.com/index.php?page=site/locations&nav_id=abd4c5fd69c66e822795b80226e74a0e
Thank you for the correction. I now know that Montana, North Dakota, and Idaho all boast a Good Times. Unfortunately, I am still out of luck in Utah, and will have to do with alliterated fast food fixes when I'm home on breaks. I wonder what alliterates with "Iceberg Shakes?" Mmm.
Mmm indeed...How about Maverick Mondays (slushies)? I was never really a fan, but some of us were. Also, make sure you try the Turkey Bacon Avacado sandwich on focaccia bread at Kneader's and the Chicken Coconut Kurma at Bombay House. Oh, how I miss it. There's also a REALLY great dive in SLC that has the best dim sum. I'll let you come up with the alliterations...
Oh Emily! Today was so much fun and soooo sad! I'm really glad that we got to hang out one more time before you left! I'm pretty sure it was fate that it landed on a Wednesday enabling us to harness the power of alliteration lunches! Please please please drive safely tomorrow and enjoy getting settled!Love you!
P.S.Good job on finding my blog, I'm proud of you!
P.S.S. I like today's pictures and your new profile picture! :)
So Emily, yesterday made me happy but sad at the same time! I am so excited to embark on what life has for all of us but it is sooo comforting to know that I will always have you guys! So yay, I figured out how to blog! ♥ Hannah
Harnessing the power of alliteration. See, right there -- that's what I love about you, Emily!
I have to second the recommendation for Kneaders' Turkey Bacon Avocado sandwich on focaccia bread. YUM. Can Cafe Rio get in on the alliteration bandwagon somehow?
I will so miss your dorky alliterations--especially Mopping Mondays. . . .
